First meets second tomorrow as the Wellers welcome AFC Dronfield to the Recreation Ground for a 3pm kick-off for this highly anticipated clash.
Both sides currently have 15 points with the visitors playing one more game, a defeat to Sheffield Medics, breaking up their winning run.
AFC Dronfield will be looking for revenge after being dumped out of the Association Cup on home soil by Wombwell Town last season and will be looking towards Benjamin Kistell to lead the line with the joint manager scoring four goals in six starts this season.
Karl Rose could spring one or two surprises in the line-up tomorrow as he looks for his team to keep their first clean sheet of the season, while looking to continue their excellent scoring record at the other end of the pitch.
Match Report: First Points Dropped
A dubious penalty in added time denied the Wellers all three points as AFC Dronfield got their reward in a tough battle on the pitch.
In hot conditions both sides struggled to keep the ball on the dry pitch, but it was Gareth McDermott who broke the deadlock 18 minutes into the first half.
A fumble by the visitors keeper, Mark Hooper, gifted the striker his first goal as he popped it over the line from a few inches out.
AFC Dronfield had almost taken the lead on five minutes in similar circumstances, but for referee Phil Morton giving a foul on Weller's keeper Sam Leigh.
There was five minutes stoppage on 24 minutes after a collision in the box saw defender Jake Padgett struggling to move. The Weller's player eventually going to hospital with a suspected fractured rib.
The second half was a fairly dreary affair with neither side creating many chances, but it all changed as the game into into added time and AFC Dronfield were awarded a penalty.
A flicked ball into the area hit Callum Beaumont's arm and the visitors made no mistake from the spot.
