Junior Football Tournament 2023
Wombwell Town Football Club are delighted to announce they will be hosting their third Junior Football Tournament over the weekend of 24th and 25th June 2023.
UPDATE: (22/06) - Check out the News page for extensive details of the tournament weekend. Details in Brief: The tournament will be held at Wombwell Recreation Ground, Station Road, Wombwell, Barnsley, S73 0BJ. Tournify We will be using the Tournify app and encourage those attending the tournament, especially managers and team organisers, to download the app. Search “Wombwell” and you should find the tournament details for each day. On the app you can follow your team and keep up to date with fixture times, results, league table, and progress throughout the day. Tournify will go live shortly before the tournament weekend. Parking (£3 - CASH ONLY) Upon arrival cars will be directed to where they can pay and park. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee players and parents from the same team will be in the same area. Parking is available inside the ground and will cost just £3 for the day, this will include a raffle ticket. We ask that people have the correct change to try to reduce the queue to cars waiting to enter from the main road. We would like to discourage visitors from using street parking out of courtesy to the neighbours, especially the row of houses directly outside the entrance. Additional parking can be found in Wombwell town centre behind the Library (S73 0BA). |

We would like to remind visitors to the Recreation Ground to conduct themselves in a calm, friendly manner. Visitors should adhere to their club's code of conducts and ours are also available on the website here.
