Wombwell Town Football Club are proud to be Accredited as part of England Football (formally FA Charter Standard).

We gained 'Charter Standard Adult' status in our first season (2018/19) and have looked to progress to a point where the 2021/22 season saw us field three 16+ teams (Senior 'open age' side, Under 21 and Under 19) and a dozen junior teams (between the ages of U7-U16) playing under the Wombwell Town banner.

The 2022/23 season has seen the Club gain two star accreditation once again with our open age sides changing to a senior First team, Reserves team and development Under 21 team. The Club now has a Sunday side for adults aged 16+ for the first time.

Our Junior section expanded to include 13 teams from the ages of U7 to U17, including our first girls team at U12 level.

The 2023/24 season has seen the club change once more with almost 20 junior teams playing every weekend and more on the way at several age groups, preparing for the 24/25 season.

We are always looking to develop and anyone wishing to volunteer their time can contact Alan at [email protected]
and we'll find a place for you.
